It’s About You publishes practical guides to AI APIs and developer tooling. Error references you can actually fix a bug with, honest comparisons, and free browser-based tools. No hype, no filler, no rewritten press releases.
What we publish
- An LLM API error reference. Every common failure across OpenAI and Anthropic, what causes it, whether it is safe to retry, and runnable code to fix it.
- Free tools. The API cost calculator prices any token workload across every major model. The context budget planner shows how much of a model’s window your overhead consumes and at which turn a conversation breaks. Both run entirely in your browser.
- How-to guides and comparisons for the AI and developer tools we actually use.
How we work
Three commitments, and they are the whole reason this site exists in a category full of recycled content.
- Every figure comes from the provider’s own documentation. Prices, context windows, rate limits and error codes are read from the source and carry the date they were verified. Never copied from another blog, never written from memory.
- What we cannot verify, we leave out. Our cost calculator omits providers whose numbers are not published in a form we can check, and says so on the page. An incomplete comparison is more useful than a confidently wrong one.
- Answer first. Every page opens with the answer in the first few sentences. If you only need one line, you should not have to scroll past an introduction to find it.

What we deliberately avoid
We do not publish medical, financial or legal advice. Those subjects need credentials this site does not have, and getting them wrong hurts people. If a question needs a licensed professional, the honest answer is to go and find one.
We also do not chase breaking AI news. Model announcements are covered better and faster elsewhere, and that content is worthless a fortnight later. We would rather maintain a reference that is still correct next year.

It’s About You is written and edited by Chirag Darji, founder of VGraple. Every article carries a named author. There are no ghost bylines here.
Telling us we are wrong
Providers change pricing, rename models and rewrite error messages without warning, so some pages here will go stale. When we find an error we fix the page and update its verification date rather than quietly editing it and pretending it was always right.
If you spot something wrong, tell us through the contact page. A specific correction with a source is the most useful thing you can send.
