It’s About You publishes technical guides, reference material and free tools relating to AI APIs and developer tooling. Everything here is provided for general information and educational purposes. It is offered in good faith and with genuine effort toward accuracy, but without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Accuracy and third-party changes
Much of what we publish describes third-party services we do not control. API pricing, context windows, rate limits, model names and error messages change frequently and often without notice.
Where we publish such figures we state the date they were verified and link to the provider’s own documentation. That documentation is always authoritative. Confirm current values against the provider before making a commercial or architectural decision. We are not liable for costs incurred as a result of relying on a figure that has since changed.
Code samples
Code on this site is illustrative. It is written to show an approach clearly, not to be production-ready, and it omits the error handling, input validation, logging and security controls a real system needs.
Review, test and adapt anything you take from here before running it against a live system or a billable API. You remain responsible for what your software does, including what it costs.
Our tools
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser and are estimation aids, not billing systems. They do not account for every variable that affects a real invoice, such as cached tokens, retries, reasoning tokens, batch discounts or per-provider promotional rates. Treat their output as an approximation and check your provider’s own usage dashboard for authoritative figures.
